Dominio de Punctum – natural organic & biodynamic wines from Spain
“Spanish Organics” case offer is a selection of natural, organic and biodynamic wines from a family-run estate at 750 metres near Las Pedroñeras in La Mancha (around half way between Valencia and Madrid). Domino de Punctum is led by Jesus Fernadez (Viticulturist) who, together with his sister (and wine-maker) Ruth, have developed their parents vineyards into an organic Estate and Winery. It is an ideal place to grow quality vines naturally. They do not use any synthetic pesticides, herbicides on the soil, or chemicals in the winery, and all their wines have organic status. Biodynamic is a step further; they gained this added status in 2011. Viognier 2018 [2 bottles]

The aromas simply jump out the glass. It has exotic peach and apricot aromas with slightly nutty and floral notes. The palate is packed with intense peach, nectarine and tropical fruit flavours with a light citrus uplift which balances the full, complex flavours with a touch of freshness. A very versatile dry white; you could drink it on its own with nibbles and it is a perfect partner to a wide range of foods like shellfish, Asian and vegetarian dishes.
Rosado 2018 [2 bottles]
Attractive, refined blush rosado. Strawberry and raspberry aromas with hints of watermelon are followed by bags of strawberry and blueberry flavours. This is a fresh, elegant and structured wine with excellent balance. Although pale in colour it has terrific, full flavours and overall lightness of touch.
You could drink this on its own, but it will partner a wide range of foods from fish, chicken to spicy dishes and salads and, of course, Barbecues.
Comparable to a Provence Rosé; simply delicious.
Tempranillo/Petit Verdot 2018 [2 bottles]

A deliciously dry, light to medium-bodied red with appealing violets, blackberry, spice and date aromas. The flavours are fresh and layered with black cherry fruit, pomegranate and hints of liquorice and cinnamon spice. It is structured and savoury with ripe tannins that are smoothing. Overall, this is a terrific blend of 70% Tempranillo and 30% Petit Verdot; an interesting red with excellent length and balance. This wine leans towards a soft claret in style, whilst retaining Spanish characteristics and is one of our universally popular red wines. Great with Pasta, Cheeses and Grills.
