Medievo Selección Especial 2014 is a brilliant vintage. It is immediately appealing on the nose with spicy blackberry fruit with cedary notes. On taste it has an expressive blackberry and cherry palate which is succulent and fruity with excellent structure. This wine has a great balance of fruit and oak from its 6 months in American oak barrels.
A modern Rioja Roble which is the equal of many Rioja Crianzas with a smooth texture, a touch of complexity and brilliant length. Medium bodied.
