Tasting Notes

SUMMER WHITE OFFER – BIN END reduction for drinking up this summer.

Campo Flores Blanco is a dry, aromatic and full-flavoured organic white wine. It is a fresh and lively white wine with crisp apple and ripe pineapple characteristics. It has juicy citrus fruit on the finish which makes it a refreshing, easy-drinking, great value white.

A successful blend of Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc. Verdejo is a native grape of Spain, which originated in the North of Spain in the Rueda area, but is now planted in other areas like La Mancha, from where this wine comes. It is often referrred to as the Sauvignon Blanc of Spain, as it is similar to Sauvignon Blanc but with a tropical twist and a bit more weight.

This wine is made from organically grown grapes from old bush vines in vineyards near Cuenca in Castilla la Mancha, in central Spain at 600 metres. Here, the hot dry climate and sandy, chalky soils and underground aquifiers are a perfect environment for organic production. Viñedos Perdidos (literally lost vineyards) work with many organic grape growers to produce this brilliant value white wine.
