Tasting Notes

a’Becketts Rams Cliff Rosé has an attractive light salmon colour and wild strawberry aromas. This is followed by a fresh palate of wild strawberries with raspberries hints. It has a good balance of fruit with a fresh finish and it makes a perfect aperitif at just 11% abv. We will shortly be moving on to the 2018 vintage of this wine. From this wonderful English vintage.

From a small, family-run vineyard in Littleton Panell, Wiltshire just North of Salisbury Plan. Although the largest vineyard in Wiltshire, it is tiny at just 4 hectares (11 acres). Paul and Lynn Langham started planting the vineyards in 2001, so were early into the growing of vines in England; since then the area under vine has increased significantly, with many establishing vineyards in the South East of England. Paul focuses on growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and all their wines are Vegan friendly.

The village is overlooked by the Rams Cliff escarpment. Paul and Lynn have named this classic English Rosé after this local feature.
