Come and taste great wines at Apple Affair at West Dean Gardens this coming weekend. It is a celebration of the best of the British autumn harvest including the impressive pumpkins and gourds from the Victorian Kitchen Garden. It is held during the British Food Fortnight which runs from 17 September to 2 October. One of the most intriguing stalls is where visitors can bring their own apple varieties along for identification.
The Apple Affair has a great local feel to it and plenty to see, with orchard and estate tours, live tasteful music, craft and cookery demos including Giles from the Earl of March and children’s activities like apple bobbing plus around 40+ stalls. The stunning setting of West Dean and the gardens offer all-year round interest so a visit to the Apple Affair is an added bonus. All we need is good weather!
Come and visit our stall on the Picnic Lawn; we will have some amazing English wines, including wine from West Sussex and some gems from Spain! Enjoy a glass of English Bubbly perhaps??
