Join us for our Summer Wine Tasting on either Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Whether alfresco, as last year, or indoors It will be a relaxing and informal way of discovering some new wines. Booking is essential, but you can drop-in at any time to suit you.
Our regular Tasters will know that we specialise on wines from smaller wineries, mostly family producers, who focus on quality and sustainability from the vineyard through to making of the wines. Some are organic, many are award-winners but above all they are competitively priced.
We have lots of new finds on taste for you, including the latest Sparkling arrival from Albourne Estate in West Sussex, a Multi-Vintage Brut which is stunning value. Our organic range continues to expand with Mil Historias Malbec from Spain from Bodegas Altolandon, one of the highest altitude vineyards in Spain. Now is the time for Rosés, and our latest find is the delicious Bodegas Volver Tarima Rosado made from the Monastrell grape.
We are thrilled with the new vintages of Dominio de Punctum organic and biodynamic wines – wines which offer amazing quality and value – these will be on taste too. Dominio de Punctum Viognier and their blush Rosé are brilliant summer wines, in particular.
At our Summer Wine Tasting we will have 18 – 20 wines from Spain, England, South Africa and New Zealand. If you are new to our Tastings we will send you details of the venue. The nearest train station is Southbourne; it takes about 20 minutes walk to reach the Tasting. We hope you will be able to join us and in the meantime do browse our Wine Shop on line to discover our wines.
Booking is essential as places are limited. The RSVP button enables you to say your coming on your chosen day, or you can just email us.
