Join us for our Spring Wine Tasting on either Saturday or Sunday afternoon of Easter weekend. It will be a relaxing and informal way of discovering some new wines. Booking is essential, but you can drop-in at any time to suit you.
Our regular Tasters will know that we specialise on wines from smaller wineries, mostly family producers, who focus on quality and sustainability from the vineyard through to making of the wines. Some are organic, many are award-winners but above all they are competitively priced.
New finds on taste will include a Reserve Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir from the Rose family in Marlborough, New Zealand. At the other extreme of the world, the Southern most point of South Africa, Strandveld Shiraz will be on taste.
Hot off the press – De Wetshof Bon Vallon Chardonnay 2018 has won Top 10 best Chardonnay in the World 2019! This is brilliant news for the De Wetshof family and us! To be nominated in the Top 10 Chardonnays in the World is an amazing award for this fantastic value unoaked Chardonnay. Come and discover this wine at our Tasting.
Our Spring Tasting will show around 18 – 20 wines for all occasions from Spain, England, South Africa and New Zealand. If you are new to our Tastings we will send you details of the venue. The nearest train station is Southbourne; it takes about 20 minutes walk to reach the Tasting. We hope you will be able to join us and in the meantime do browse our Wine Shop on line to discover our wines.
