Bush Vines brings English Wines to Westbourne Open Gardens on Sunday 14 June 2015, when the village of Westbourne opens its gardens in aid of local charities (including St Wilfrid’s Hospice and Westbourne Primary School).
There are 17 gardens open – from small exquisitively-designed to large mature gardens and many with water meandering through them. There are additional attractions: Refreshments include ice creams and WI will be serving vintage-style teas on the vicarage lawn, there is a Treasure Hunt for children, and Bush Vines will be at Drounces in White Chimney Row with English Wines. A perfect match – some amazing English gardens coupled with quintessentially English Wines!
Special guests at this event include Ed Bond, winner of the Allotment Challenge 2014 and William Hardie, co-presenter of Channel 4’s “George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces”.
£7 (children under 14 go free): Free Car Park at the Wren Centre PO10 7SU.
Last time this event raised £6,500 for charities – we hope to raise more this time!
