Following the success of last year’s first Emsworth Wine Fair, we are delighted to be part of this year’s Wine Fair, celebrating Emsworth British Food Fortnight. We are joining up with three other local independent wine merchants – Hermitage Cellars, Portal, Dingwall & Norris and Vin Merchants.
The focus will be on English Wines which will include, amongst others wines from Albourne Estate, Ridgeview and Sixteen Ridges. Hambledon Vineyard will also be represented. There will be a wide range of wines from other regions – from Rioja to Stellenbosch – so this is a wonderful opportunity to taste over 40 wines, including some organic wines and award-winners.
The gin lovers will be pleased to also find some British Gins and you will be able to taste some English Whiskey!
There will also be a ‘Blind Wine Tasting’ Competition with some marvellous bottles to be won, and that’s not all! In conjunction with Montezuma’s, there will be a Chocolate and Wine tasting experience for tasters to discover just how many wines really do work with chocolate. All visitors will also receive a limited souvenir tasting glass to use and take home afterwards.
We will have a selection of terrific English and Spanish Wines at special 10% Emsworth Food Fortnight discount together with a couple of great South African wines too. £5 entry available on the door – which includes your souvenir glass!
